Twelve-Year-Old Girl Thrown 70 Feet In Pedestrian Accident

No charges have been made in an accident involving a thirty-six-year-old driver and a twelve-year-old pedestrian. The girl, M.W. was struck by N.T. on Big Bend Road on November 12th while jogging with her mother. The impact caused the girl to be thrown seventy feet. M.W. was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital where she is said to suffer from a head injury and collapsed lung. She is still in critical condition and has not regained consciousness. The driver who struck the girl visited her in the hospital to see if there was anything she could do to help.
