Former Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Matt Bush has recently been arrested for
his third DUI after causing an accident resulting in serious bodily injury
to a 72-year-old motorcyclist, according to Florida Highway Patrol. A
lawsuit that was filed against the former pitcher seeks $5 million in
damages caused to the motorcyclist, including physical injuries, property
damage, and pain and suffering. The accident took place when Bush was
driving on a suspended license in a borrowed SUV when he struck the motorcyclist,
who is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries. The motorcyclist
suffered an array of catastrophic injuries, including 10 broken ribs,
a punctured lung, and a broken back, among other injuries that were not
included in the initial report. According to reports, the lawsuit also
