Attorney Sanga Turnbull Wins Appeal for Paralyzed Client
Attorney Turnbull recently handled a car accident case that involved a complex insurance matter. His client was thrown out of a vehicle and severely injured, resulting in paralysis from the chest down. When the man attempted to claim stacked uninsured motorist benefits from his mother's insurance, he was denied.
The insurance company contended that his mother only had UM coverage on one vehicle, even though she had two vehicles insured with them. Our client's mother argued that she had called the company prior to the accident and was misled about the type of coverage she would receive, because the provider specifically told her she could claim stacked benefits if either of her children were hurt in an accident.
While the trial court initially dismissed our client's case, Attorney Turnbull was successful in winning an appeal in the Second District Court of Appeals that allowed the case to continue. Now Attorney Turnbull will be able to help the man seek the full compensation he deserves for his suffering and mistreatment.
